I was 17 and had a 21 year old boyfriend (way back when i was that age) my parents were very protective, and the first time i stayed at his they panicked a bit (we never did sleep together i didn't.It happens here every day.There is no law that prevents the two of you from dating (as in going to the movies, walking in the park, etc).Both ages most likely share similar maturity, interests, and goals as well.It's 21/2 + 7 (which = 17.5, as you said.) 4 phantasmagoria08But the issue with the age rule is that it doesn't take into account the maturity difference between an 18 year old and a 21 year old.
